President & CEO
John Weber assumed the role of chief executive officer in early 2015 after first joining LRS as chief technology officer in 2013. At LRS, Weber is responsible for managing overall operations, executing the company’s long and short-term plans, and implementing high-level strategies.
Weber’s career has spanned a wide range of disciplines including software and hardware development, product strategy, marketing, and sales. Previously, Weber held several executive-level positions at InfiniDB (formerly Calpont Corporation) where he was responsible for all aspects of product architecture, product delivery, quality assurance and customer support. Later, Weber help grow InfiniDB by leading business development and sales by creating multi-national implementation and resale partnerships. At MetaSolv Weber was instrumental in designing and developing a portfolio of products, collaboratively crafting the product vision, and opening and managing MetaSolv’s first remote office location responsible for implementing the largest contract acquired at that time.
Weber received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in business administration.
Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer for Long Range Systems, Brian Scott oversees LRS’ financial well-being by providing financial projections, accounting services, coordinating with other areas of the business in preparing growth plans, and managing the accounting, human resource and operational staffs.
In his role, Scott uses his mix of accounting and operations experience to not only monitor the financial performance of LRS, but also develop strategies for minimizing waste, making process improvements, and optimizing revenue.
Scott began his career with Arthur Andersen and went on to hold finance and administration leadership roles at a variety of other companies. His experience ranges from the financial services industry to the food and beverage industry to most recently several technology service providers.
Vice President of Product
Marc has been recognized throughout his career for his ability to develop and lead disruptive and sustaining innovation strategies in healthcare, communications, consumer, and information technologies. His experience includes defining and developing new products and services, business development, and business unit leadership.
Marc led the development and product launch of cloud-based wearable location service devices that protect autistic children, patients and medical staff, and independent but vulnerable seniors.
Marc is Vice President of Product at Long Range Systems where he leads an outstanding team responsible for product marketing and management, product development, and customer support. LRS is building the future of operations management and customer experience for the very best in restaurant, medical, entertainment, retail and warehousing markets.
Marc holds a BSEE and MSEE in Digital Signal Processing from Southern Methodist University.
Vice President of Sales
As Vice President of Sales for LRS, George Chandler leads a team responsible for domestic sales, reseller channels, and international sales. In his role, Chandler works closely with large tier one clients, 3rd party business, channel partners, and international distributors.
Prior to LRS, Chandler’s diversified career has spanned technology sales and marketing, investment banking, and semiconductor design. Most recently, Chandler served as the CEO of The Shearwater Group, a worldwide reseller of software for the semiconductor design market. Prior to that, Chandler was VP Research at Frost Securities, an investment bank based in Dallas, Texas, where he provided financial research on telecom software companies. Chandler began his career at Texas Instruments designing semiconductor chips.
Chandler holds a B.S.E.E. from the University of Houston and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
