We are excited and happy to announce the launch of our latest app: On Cue for Restaurants. On Cue was created to help restaurants, or any business that manages a waitlist, improve the customer experience. The application went live last week and is available for the iPad through Apple’s app store.

Many restaurants are used to putting names on a list and giving wait time “guesstimates,” but that old practice does nothing to endear them to customers. Is there anything more frustrating than when that 15-minute wait becomes 45 minutes?

That’s why we developed an app with a singular focus: to be an easy and complete solution for managing the wait, and for notifying customers when they can be seated.

The solution can notify guests when their table is ready via SMS text or with our classic pagers – the choice is theirs. The app was designed to be intuitive and easy to use – why overcomplicate a waitlist? We knew businesses needed not another technology hassle but a new tool that allows easy management of the front door during busy times.

The app is free to download and comes with 300 free text messages a month. All you’ll need is the activation code when you sign up. If you’re curious to see how easy it is to add a guest to the waitlist, check out the articles and videos here.
