POSITION OVERVIEW

LRS is seeking a driven, high-energy, career minded individual with highly evolved communication and interpersonal skills interested in advancing their sales career.  Our ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial mindset and an upbeat personality.  The successful candidate will be making outbound calls across the continental U.S. generating sales leads and following up with existing customers. The candidate will partner closely with the Director of Sales to develop a list of leads and areas of focus.  The position is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, TX and reports to the Director of Sales.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop relationships and deepen existing relationships through outbound calls daily
  • Identify and secure new opportunities to build new relationships across the continental U.S.
  • Carefully record leads and client contacts within CRM
  • Conduct thorough customer assessments that include open-ended questions designed to accurately assess customer needs and identify key players to generate interest
  • Demonstrate product features to the customer including establishing appropriate ROI metrics and realistic customer expectations related to LRS hardware and software/SaaS offerings
  • Utilizes a detailed understanding of Long Range Solutions products and the standards used by target customers to work through the implementation process with the customer
  • Monitor and discuss available customer performance data and business intelligence, making appropriate recommendations for process and service improvements
  • Process customer requests (purchase orders, reorders, return authorizations, expedited material requests, pricing and availability requests, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Accomplish targeted performance and revenue objectives on a consistent basis
  • Analyze the Market and target potential clients

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Expert in handling CRM software such as NetSuite and other common computer software such as Microsoft Office and Windows based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Extensive B2B sales experience with a primary focus on Companies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Restaurant/Hospitality experience is preferred
  • 3-5 minimum years of experience as an Account Executive in a closing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field highly desired

 

Occasional travel and tradeshow attendance may be required.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The Full Stack Software Engineer has the responsibility to support, maintain and implement enhancements to our industry-leading solutions; design and implement software of embedded devices and systems; design, develop, code, test, and debug software systems; and analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.

The Production Technician position under the supervision of the Configuration Supervisor is responsible to support the production department in preparing equipment for shipment configuring sales orders and re-orders; program transmitters and program/ label pagers as business requirements dictate as well as supporting the repair operations process to properly diagnose electronic circuit board failures and repair them.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Jr Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for planning and purchasing from LRS suppliers including contract manufacturers and is also responsible for collecting and gathering data on potential suppliers and carriers. In addition, they schedule shipping times and manage the requirements of freight travel.  They disperse information about purchasing and sales to the necessary members of production, purchasing, and sales teams. The Buyer/Planner also negotiates the prices for services and/or products.

LRS is seeking a Hardware Engineer to research, identify, and lead the implementation of key hardware components, solutions and technologies to deliver a robust customer experience that stretches from tried and trusted one-way paging to next generation experience enhancement devices incorporating mesh networking and indoor positioning technologies.  This position will be a part of a progressive, fast-paced, collaborative environment that urges creativity in approach and simplicity in execution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Research new technologies and component offerings relevant and advantageous to our technical and business objectives.
  • Work closely, and to consensus, with the Product Management team, Business Analyst team and developers to ensure hardware designs meet business needs and enable efficient development output.
  • Implement hardware designs all the way from requirements to component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, debugging, and compliance certification.
  • Collaborate with firmware developers to ensure that hardware designs are efficient, reliable, and debuggable.
  • Interface with designers, industrial engineers, and mechanical engineers to understand physical constraints of designs as well as ensuring proper mechanical fit of electronics in product.
  • Cooperate with internal purchasing department and with contract manufacturers in order to minimize risk, lead time, and cost across the entire bill of materials.
  • Team with QA and QC specialists in creating design acceptance test plans and manufacturing quality control tests.
  • Assist inside manufacturing and repair departments as well as contract manufacturers in producing reliable products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Improve products using feedback received from customer service and repair, as well as performing failure analysis to pinpoint issues.
  • Provide estimates, meet deadlines, and communicate updates regularly with technical and non-technical business partners.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • 8+ years electrical engineering development with previous senior design experience.
  • Proven creativity in maximizing hardware functionality while minimizing unit cost.
  • Proven track record with high volume manufactured goods.
  • Significant RF design experience required, preferably in both 400 MHz UHF and 2.4 GHz ISM bands.
  • Proven track record with design of FCC Part 15 transceivers.
  • Strong preference for a track record with design of FCC Part 90 licensed transmitters.
  • Strong design experience with microcontrollers and MCU interfacing required. Design experience with Atmel AVR, Atmel ATSAM, Silicon Labs 8051, or Silicon Labs ARM microcontrollers a plus.
  • Low-power battery operated system experience strongly preferred. Experience with NiMH and LiPO batteries a plus.
  • Design experience with RS-232, USB, and Ethernet a plus.
